DATA SHEET

Sensor board for micro-controllers using the ADXL345 accelerometer IC with high resolution (10-13-bit) measurement at up to ±16 g. Digital output data is formatted as 16-bit 2s complement and is accessible through either a SPI (3- or 4-wire) or I2C digital interface. Measures inclination changes less than 1.0°. Measures the static acceleration of gravity in tilt-sensing applications, as well as dynamic acceleration resulting from motion or shock.
Detects lack of motion as well as motion by comparing the acceleration on any axis with user-set thresholds. Functions can be mapped individually to either of two interrupt output pins.
NOTE: Requires Download or Writting of Code for Operation
Power: 5VDC (Onboard 3.3 Regulator)
Current: 170uA Max
Ranges: selectable ±2 g, ±4 g, ±8 g or ±16 g. via serial command
